Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Cedi Osman (back) and power forward Dean Wade (calf) have been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Miami. Osman's absence will reach two games due to a sore back, while Wade's strained right calf will have him out for a third straight outing. Osman has developed into an integral marksman for the second unit, knocking down 2.5 triples per game, while shooting 43 percent from behind the arc. With Cleveland's frontcourt back to relative full health aside from Wade, he faces a muddled path to consistent playing time, and thereby, season-long fantasy relevance. The next chance for either to suit up comes Friday vs. the Wizards.--Jesse Borek

Veteran forward Cedi Osman reportedly had an offer on the table from the Los Angeles Lakers before inking a deal with reigning EuroLeague champion Panathinaikos. Osman has landed in Greece on a one-year contract despite previously being in advanced talks with Real Madrid. According to Eurohoops, the 29-year-old also had an opportunity to join the Lakers for training camp before opting to link up with Panathinaikos, which also brought in Omer Yurtseven from the NBA this offseason. Osman spent the 2023-24 campaign with the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 6.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 17.6 minutes. He has posted 9.3 points and 3.0 rebounds for his entire 476-game NBA career.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Veteran forward Cedi Osman is set to join Real Madrid for the 2024-25 campaign. According to Eurohoops, Osman is in "advanced talks" with the European powerhouse. Following a lengthy spell with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Osman was traded to the San Antonio Spurs last offseason. He was used as a bench piece throughout the campaign and posted 6.8 points with 2.5 rebounds. Despite shooting a career-high 38.9 percent from three-point range, Osman hasn't signed a new NBA deal for the upcoming season and now looks ready to return to Europe. Before joining the NBA in 2017, Osman played four EuroLeague seasons with Anadolu Efes of his native Turkey.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

San Antonio Spurs forward Cedi Osman (ankle) will not be available to play on Friday against the Denver Nuggets. This will be his fifth straight game on the sidelines because of a right ankle sprain. With only two games left in the regular season, the Spurs are in no rush to have Osman return to the court, as they are eliminated from the playoff race. While he is out, expect Julian Champagnie, Sidy Cissoko, and Blake Wesley to see more minutes down the stretch. Osman's last chance to return will come on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons.--Dave Goldsholl - RotoBaller

San Antonio Spurs forward Cedi Osman (ankle) won't play on Friday against the Pelicans. The 25-year-old got the start in Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets. Unfortunately, he suffered a sprained right ankle after logging only 18 minutes and didn't return. San Antonio is limping to the end of the 2023-24 campaign, and the team also won't have Jeremy Sochan (ankle), Devin Vassell (foot), and possible Keldon Johnson (foot) on Friday. While everyone knows the offensive begins and ends with Victor Wembanyama, Malaki Branham, scoring a team-high 24 points versus Denver, will surely be a popular DFS option. At the same time, Sandro Mamukelashvili, who fell one rebound short of a double-double on Tuesday, has value potential for large DFS contests.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
