Scott Laughton Ends Seven-Game Drought In Big Way
3 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers center Scott Laughton kills penalties well. On Sunday night, he scored a short-handed goal and added an early third-period assist in a losing effort. His pass to Joel Farabee, who collected his seventh goal of the year, silenced the New Jersey crowd temporarily. Laughton came into the game in Newark with just four points in 19 games. Besides the goal and assist, he delivered four hits as well. The middle-six center will continue to be a fringe offensive option for the Philadelphia Flyers but have nights every so often like Sunday.
