3 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Adam Shaheen (knee) missed practice all week and has been ruled out for the Week 12 game against the Carolina Panthers. Shaheen hasn't done much this year in fantasy behind Mike Gesicki, as he's caught 12 of 16 targets for 110 yards and no touchdowns in nine games for the Dolphins. With Shaheen out this weekend, Durham Smythe and Cethan Carter could see the field more to spell Gesicki. The Panthers defense hasn't allowed a ton of production to opposing tight ends this year as one of the better pass defenses in the NFL, but Gesicki should still be considered at least a midrange TE1 at the weakest position in fantasy. Gesicki put up a donut in Week 10 but rebounded with five catches for 50 yards on six targets in Week 11.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
