Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay has cleared the league's concussion protocol, according to head coach Nick Sirianni. As a result, Slay will play on Sunday against the division-rival New York Giants in Week 12 action. Slay has scored touchdowns in back-to-back weeks with a fumble returned for a touchdown in Week 10 and an interception returned for another score last Sunday before he suffered a concussion. The veteran defensive back now has three touchdowns on the season and 39 total tackles. His return is good news for a defense that is trending up in recent weeks, and they'll be a strong play this Sunday against the Giants, who are expected to be without wide receivers Source: Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane
