Houston Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (thigh) has been given the green light to get back on the floor for Wednesday's contest against Chicago. Porter Jr.'s absence ends at three games, with his presence likely leading to decreased ballhandling duties for Jalen Green and Eric Gordon. The 21-year-old southpaw has fired up double-digit shot attempts in 12 of his 14 contests this year, hitting at least one three in all but one outing. Despite Houston's massively slow start to the season, Porter's role is as safe as anyone's moving forward as the Rockets will continue to prioritize his development.--Jesse Borek

Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. won't make his official debut for his new club on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks. Porter was dealt from the Clippers on Thursday to the Bucks. The 24-year-old averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 steals in 19.6 minutes per game during 45 contests in a Clippers uniform. KPJ will likely serve as the Bucks' primary backup to Damian Lillard for the rest of this season, and he has a player option for 2025-26. Ryan Rollins and A.J. Green will continue to play extra minutes until KPJ takes the floor for Milwaukee.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired guard Kevin Porter Jr. from the Clippers to bolster their backcourt before Thursday's NBA Trade Deadline. Milwaukee will send forward MarJon Beauchamp to the Clippers in exchange. Porter has been a solid backup point guard for the Clippers this season after sitting out all of 2023-24. He played 45 of the team's 50 games including two starts and averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 steals in 19.6 minutes per game. KPJ will likely serve as the Bucks' primary backup to Damian Lillard for the rest of this season, and he has a player option for 2025-26. He will likely take playing time from Ryan Rollins and A.J. Green.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (illness) will sit out Friday's game against Golden State. He's battling an illness and has been downgraded from questionable to out. As the leader of the second unit, Porter Jr. has contributed 10.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists this season. Bones Hyland and Jordan Miller might re-enter the rotation due to Porter Jr.'s absence, but they likely won't offer the same level of production he does.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) will sit out Sunday's tilt against Denver. He hurt his left ankle in Friday's 93-92 loss to Minnesota. Porter Jr. scored a season-high 17 points and had three steals in Friday's contest. He's carved out a decent role on the Clippers squad, averaging 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 18.7 minutes. Norman Powell's (hamstring) return will help the Clippers cope with the loss of Porter Jr.'s scoring ability on Sunday, while Bones Hyland might join the rotation.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
