Cardinals Sign Trace McSorley To Active Roster
3 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals signed quarterback Trace McSorley off the Baltimore Ravens practice squad and to their active roster on Monday, according to a source. Kyler Murray (ankle) has missed the last three games with a sprained ankle, but he's expected to be good to go coming out of the team's bye in Week 12. McSorley will serve as Arizona's No. 3 behind Murray and Colt McCoy, who has helped the Cardinals go 2-1 with Murray sidelined. The 26-year-old was a sixth-round pick by the Ravens out of Penn State in 2019, and he has only attempted 10 passes in his two-plus seasons in the NFL, all coming in two games last season for Baltimore.
