With four of the five main-card bouts going to a decision, Saturday night's main-card opener was the only one to end in a split decision. Adrian Yanez looked impressive enough to the judges to earn a decision over veteran Davey Grant (30-27, 28-29, 28-29). Statistically, Yanez tallied 100 significant strikes, only two more than Grant collected on the night. The win improves Yanez to a perfect 4-0 in the Octagon since his Contender Series victory. With a close back-and-forth battle, Yanez should continue to see an uptick in competition.--Matt Bricker

Adrian Yanez (17-5) is set to take on Daniel Marcos at UFC Tampa on Saturday. Yanez returned to the win column with a knockout win over Vinicius Salvador back in May to snap his two-fight losing streak. Yanez enters this bout against the undefeated Marcos as a big underdog while DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,770. In the UFC, Yanez is 6-2 and has won five fights by knockout, while he's been knocked out in both of his losses. If Yanez can pull off the upset, he should get a top-10 opponent next.--Cole Shelton

Adrian Yanez returned to the win column in a big way as he scored a first-round knockout win over Vinicius Salvador at UFC Vegas 92. Yanez entered the bout as the favorite as it was a step down in competition after back-to-back losses to ranked opponents. In the fight, Yanez landed a big right hook that dropped his opponent and he followed it up with ground strikes to get the TKO win. With the victory, Yanez is now 6-2 in the UFC and could get a ranked opponent next.--Cole Shelton

Adrian Yanez suffered a second-round TKO loss to Jonathan Martinez at UFC Vegas 81, which was his second loss in a row. Yanez was coming off a first-round TKO loss to Rob Font back in April. Early on, Martinez started to chop Yanez's legs down with heavy kicks that ended up dropping him twice. Yanez could barely stand and in the second round, after a few more kicks, the fight was called. With the setback, Yanez dropped to 16-5 as a pro and is now 5-2 in the UFC.--Cole Shelton
