3 years agoWith four of the five main-card bouts going to a decision, Saturday night's main-card opener was the only one to end in a split decision. Adrian Yanez looked impressive enough to the judges to earn a decision over veteran Davey Grant (30-27, 28-29, 28-29). Statistically, Yanez tallied 100 significant strikes, only two more than Grant collected on the night. The win improves Yanez to a perfect 4-0 in the Octagon since his Contender Series victory. With a close back-and-forth battle, Yanez should continue to see an uptick in competition.--Matt Bricker
