Winnipeg Jets left-winger Nikolaj Ehlers showed his breakneck speed and quick-shot release all in one play on Thursday night. His ripping shot broke the ice as he scored late in the third period. Ehlers had quite the game with six shots on goal, five scoring chances and a couple of hits, too. The forward wound up playing a total of 21 minutes but never got a shot in the shootout. Ehlers now has 59 shots on goal and 12 points this season in just 16 games.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) is considered week-to-week. The Danish forward aggravated a previous foot injury in Saturday's shootout win against the Chicago Blackhawks. He will sit out a second consecutive game on Wednesday, when Winnipeg concludes its regular season against the Anaheim Ducks, and it's unclear when Ehlers will be ready to help the Jets again. Ehlers notched 63 points (24 goals, 39 assists) in 69 games this season. Nino Niederreiter replaced him on the second line in Sunday's matchup against the Edmonton Oilers, while Gabriel Vilardi (upper body), who has been upgraded to day-to-day, could soon also be an option for the top six.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) was limited to 9:01 of action in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. The Danish forward had to be helped off the ice after backing into an official in the second period, re-aggravating a foot injury. Ehlers returned from the injury only a couple of games ago. He was out for two games and could now miss additional time. Winnipeg returns to action on Sunday, facing the Edmonton Oilers on home ice. David Gustafsson figures to rejoin the lineup if Ehlers can't play. At the same time, Jets head coach Scott Arniel would have to shake up his second line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's matchup against the Dallas Stars. A foot injury has kept Ehlers sidelined for two games, and it remains uncertain whether he can rejoin the lineup on Thursday. The Danish forward has recorded 24 goals and 63 points in 67 games in 2024-25. David Gustafsson has re-entered the lineup in Ehlers' absence, though he provides significantly less fantasy value as a fourth-liner. The Jets have used Nino Niederreiter on the second line with Vladimir Namestnikov and Cole Perfetti, but the Swiss forward has not made an offensive impact.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) is a game-time decision for Monday's matchup against the St. Louis Blues. He was unavailable on Saturday against the Utah Hockey Club due to a foot injury and may have to skip another contest. However, Ehlers was on the ice for the morning skate, which suggests that he is likely to play. The Danish forward has posted his fourth 60-point campaign in 2024-25, recording 24 goals and 39 assists in 67 games. If Ehlers is ready to return, the Jets will likely scratch David Gustafsson for Monday's contest.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
