Michael Florio's Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 11: D'Onta Foreman, Wayne Gallman, Bryan Edwards

Michael Florio's deeper-league waiver wire pickups and fantasy football sleepers for Week 11. His top free agent options for 14-team fantasy leagues or deeper.

Hopefully Week 10 was kinder to you and your fantasy lineups after the abomination that was Week 9. I especially hope that because it's not a great waiver week. It's a week where if the right player or two are out there on waivers you can make a big splash - but outside of that it's not the best. But that doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

Just like every week, there are some fliers you can take off the waiver wire. With it being Week 11, and there not being many recognizable names on the waiver wire, your league mates may take the week off - or at the very least mail it home. You could be able to get some of these fliers for cheaper this week solely because of it.

In deeper fantasy football leagues, even weeks like this are important to play the waiver wire.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets for Week 11

Cam Newton very well might have been picked up last week in deeper leagues. But perhaps he was overlooked, or waivers were locked -- so I have to mention that if he is still out there, grab him. He played sparingly in Week 10 but still rushed and threw for a touchdown pass. Last season he led all QBs with 12 rushing touchdowns and his 592 rushing yards was third at the position. He has a favorable schedule coming up and still possess QB1 upside, especially with improved pass catchers around him.

Mac Jones threw for 198 yards and three scores against the Browns, finishing with 19.9 fantasy points - good enough to make him a top five QB on the week. Jones has been up and down so far, but he has a favorable matchup on Thursday against the Falcons. He is a strong streaming option, especially in deeper formats.

D'Onta Foreman was included in this article last week, but there is a good chance he was overlooked. Last week he led the Titans running backs in snaps (36 percent), carries (11) and yards (78). He added two targets in the passing game. Adrian Peterson saw eight carries and one target, finishing with 20 yards; Jeremy McNichols had four carries and three targets, finishing with eight yards. Foreman saw the least amount of usage in Week 9, but looked like the best of the Titans backs. Then he comes out with the most snaps, touches and yards in Week 10. It's not ideal to have all three mixed in, but Foreman is clearly the one trending in the right direction. He could see even more work next week in a favorable matchup against the Texans, which happens to be a revenge game.

Wayne Gallman played 42 percent of the snaps in Week 10, with a team-high 15 carries for 55 yards. He also had two targets, catching one for 21 yards. He played over Mike Davis, who seemingly was benched. The only question is – was this purely a one week thing in a blow out, or will we see more Gallman moving forward? That question may have to wait a week, as Cordarrelle Patterson looks very up in the air for Thursday night against the Patriots. If he is out, we will see a Davis/Gallman split. It could be Gallman leading the way on the ground with Davis getting more work in the passing game. He is an injury or bye-week replacement in deeper leagues.

Bryan Edwards had just four targets in Week 10, catching three of them for 88 yards and a touchdown. He has been consistently seeing four targets per game, which is not ideal for fantasy -- but the Raiders are searching for a receiver to step up, especially as a downfield threat. Edwards has shown he can play that role, and has looked the part, now he just needs more opportunities. The hope is that he can build off this big Week 10 moving forward.

Tre'Quan Smith had seven targets, which tied for the most on the Saints in Week 10. He caught four of them for 44 yards and a touchdown. He had three of those targets come in the red zone, which is big for fantasy purposes as red zone usage typically leads to touchdowns. The targets were a season high, and Smith has played well -- he could see more work moving forward. Deonte Harris has also been playing well. He put up a team-high 84 yards in Week 10 and leads the Saints with 17 targets from Trevor Siemian. Harris is the preferred option of the two, but he might already be rostered. Regardless, both Saints receivers are in play in deeper formats.

Marcus Johnson played the second-most snaps among Titans receivers at 62 percent. He also led the Titans in targets (six), catches (five) and yards (100). That usage is noteworthy, especially since Julio Jones was just placed on the IR. Perhaps this is a one-week blip and it's point chasing -- but in deeper fantasy football formats, a player getting usage like this is worth taking a flier on. He could remain the second option in the Titans passing game while Jones is sidelined.

Olamide Zaccheaus saw seven targets in Week 10, tied for the most on the Falcons. He only had two catches for 22 yards, but the volume stands out. He saw an increase in volume a week after scoring two touchdowns. He should have a larger role as long as Calvin Ridley is sidelined. He is a shot worth taking in 14-team leagues or deeper.

Amon-Ra St. Brown tied for the team lead in targets (six) and catches (four), while posting a team-high 61 receiving yards. It's encouraging to see the rookie more utilized after the bye week. The Lions are clearly rebuilding and could look to get the rookie more involved moving forward -- he has potential as a big slot receiver, and is worth taking a waiver wire flier on.

Ray-Ray McCloud may feel like point chasing, but his Week 10 usage has to be pointed out. McCloud saw 12 targets catching nine of them for 63 yards. It's worth noting that Mason Rudolph started and Chase Claypool was sidelined. Perhaps it was just a one week blip, but McCloud has been the lead slot receiver since JuJu Smith-Schuster was injured. He is worth a flier in deeper leagues if Claypool sits in Week 11.

Adam Trautman saw six targets in Week 10, his third consecutive game with at least six targets. He has now scored over eight fantasy points in two straight games. He has the second most targets from Trevor Semien this year (15). It's not a ton to get excited over, but the volume is noteworthy. When we are talking about deeper league tight ends, that is really all we care about. He also was a popular breakout pick due to his athleticism. He is worth taking a shot on off the waiver wire.

Austin Hooper saw five targets, tied for second most on the Browns. He caught four of them for 25 yards and a touchdown. With Odell Beckham Jr. out of town there will be targets up for grabs, and Hooper sees the most playing time of the tight ends. He is purely a deeper league option.
