Justin Jefferson Bounces Back With 143 Yards In Win
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was coming off his two lowest target and reception totals of the season going into the Week 10 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak vowed to get Jefferson more involved and he did just that. Jefferson led the team with 11 targets and nine catches for a season-high 143 yards. Entering the game as WR15 on the season, Jefferson's managers haven't exactly been disappointed in his 2021 campaign. But if they had any reservations about their number one receiver, those doubts were laid to rest Sunday. With a run-heavy offensive approach and another star WR on the team in Adam Thielen, there are going to be a few down games for Jefferson. But performances like this one are why he is an every-week WR1.
