Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Activated From IR
3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns activated rookie linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (ankle) and cornerback M.J. Stewart (hamstring) from Injured Reserve on Saturday and waived defensive tackle Andrew Billings in a corresponding move. The Browns also elevated running back Brian Hill from the practice squad to the active roster to serve as D'Ernest Johnson's backup in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns. "Speed. Coverage ability. Tackling. Blitzing. Everything," defensive coordinator Joe Woods said of Owusu-Koramoah. "He's a very talented player." The 22-year-old is returning from a high ankle sprain and gives the Browns incredible athleticism all over the field. He has 29 tackles (20 solo), four passes defensed, one forced fumble and half a sack in six games (five starts).
