Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Sammy Watkins (thigh) was moving around well at practice on Tuesday and should be ready to play on Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins after missing the last three games. Watkins was listed as limited on Monday's estimated practice report, and it's unclear if he got in a full session on Tuesday. The 28-year-old was close to returning in the Week 9 overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings, so he looks to be on track to play in Week 10. It'll be hard to trust him in starting fantasy lineups, though, as he'll likely be the No. 4 passing target behind Marquise Brown, tight end Mark Andrews and rookie wideout Rashod Bateman if he makes his return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Baltimore Ravens have decided to claim wide receiver Sammy Watkins off waivers from the Green Bay Packers. The 29-year-old was cut by Green Bay ahead of their Week 15 matchup with the Tennessee Titans. The former first round pick had 13 receptions for 206 yards and no touchdowns through nine games with the Packers. The young wideouts on this roster were stepping up, so the Packers decided to go in a different direction. The Ravens are in need of a wide receiver after placing Devin Duvernay (foot) on the injured reserve. Watkins could immediately slide into a starting role on this team. However, fantasy managers shouldn't have high expectations for Watkins with Tyler Huntley under center.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

The Green Bay Packers are releasing wide receiver Sammy Watkins on Monday, according to sources. Watkins will go on waivers and will surely attract some interest around the league. With rookie Romeo Doubs (ankle) returning from an extended absence on Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams, Watkins became the odd man out in the receiving room in Green Bay. The former first-round pick has played a grand total of 11 offensive snaps in the last two games and hasn't caught a pass since Week 10 against Dallas. On the year, Watkins has just 13 receptions for 206 yards and no touchdowns on 22 targets over nine games played. He belongs firmly on the waiver wire and is unlikely to find his way into a substantial role with another team to close out the 2022 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Sammy Watkins played just four offensive snaps in Sunday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and he wasn't targeted at all in the passing game. Watkins fell out of favor in Green Bay's game plan against the Eagles, with rookie Christian Watson, Allen Lazard and veteran slot man Randall Cobb serving as the three primary receivers alongside tight end Robert Tonyan. Watkins is still searching for his first touchdown of the season, and he has just three catches for 47 yards in the last three games combined for Green Bay. Fantasy managers can't realistically consider him for starting lineups, even in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Sammy Watkins (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. He returned Thursday after being absent from Wednesday's session due to a knee injury. Per Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, the veteran wide receiver is dealing with some "bumps and bruises." The 29-year-old has been quiet since returning from the injured reserve in Week 7. He has four catches on 10 targets for 48 yards over three games. If active, Watkins will have an expanded role with Romeo Doubs (ankle) out for 4-to-6 weeks. Despite the increased role, fantasy managers can avoid starting Watkins against the Cowboys in Week 10.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
