Tevin Coleman, Corey Davis To Return In Week 10
Tevin Coleman (hamstring) and wide receiver Corey Davis (hip) are expected to return to action this week, according to head coach Robert Saleh. Coleman has been sidelined since the past three games while Davis has missed the past two, so the Jets offense is in for some reinforcements in a tough matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. Davis is the more attractive fantasy option because of his label as the No.1 wide receiver, but the matchup with Tre'Davious White is enough to leave him on the bench once again. Coleman is likely the No. 3 running back on the depth chart in his return, so he has limited fantasy value unless Michael Carter or Ty Johnson misses any time.

Tevin Coleman Elevated From Practice Squad
Tevin Coleman was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. That means, the veteran back will be available for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This appears to be a move to add extra depth in the backfield before gameday. Star back Christian McCaffrey is expected to handle of bulk of the carries in the backfield. After that, Jordan Mason, Tyrion Davis-Price, and possibly Coleman will be mixed in. However, none of them are going to have reliable value outside of McCaffrey for Sunday's Week 14 matchup.

Tevin Coleman Could See A Larger Role
Tevin Coleman was added to their practice squad after being cut following the acquisition of Christian McCaffrey (knee). The 29-year-old has been there for several weeks, but because Elijah Mitchell (knee) suffered a knee injury, he could find himself back on the active roster. The team utilized Jordan Mason and fullback Kyle Juszczyk to spell McCaffrey after Mitchell went down, but they also have Tyrion Davis-Price, who was inactive on Sunday. With two young backs in the mix, it might make sense for the team to offer more snaps to the veteran, who is familiar with the system. Coleman is currently someone to keep on your radar as a potential stash in deeper leagues.

Tevin Coleman Cut By 49ers
Tevin Coleman was released by the organization on Tuesday. This shouldn't come as a surprise after the recent addition of Christian McCaffrey. Coleman had 12 rushing attempts for 26 yards and one touchdown in four games with the 49ers. The 29-year-old has put together some fairly productive seasons in the past. Coleman should be able to find himself another landing spot. However, his fantasy value will depend on his role, which likely won't be significant.

San Francisco Promotes Tevin Coleman To The Active Roster
Tevin Coleman has been promoted to the active roster. In a corresponding move, the team also re-signed Marlon Mack to their practice squad. The veteran running back recently spent time on the team's practice squad but found himself active for last week's 37-15 win over the Carolina Panthers. Coleman took advantage of the opportunity, rushing for 23 yards on eight attempts and found the end zone twice. With Elijah Mitchell (knee) out for another few weeks, the 49ers wisely added Coleman to their active roster. The veteran running back is worth adding in deeper leagues, especially given Jeff Wilson Jr.'s injury history.
