Jordan Howard Takes Over The Eagles Backfield In Week 9
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard took over the backfield in Week 9 and played well in a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He ran the ball 17 times for 71 yards and a touchdown. He was not targeted in the passing game. Howard out-touched the rest of the Eagles running backs combined by a count of 17-12. With Miles Sanders (ankle) still not expected back, Howard should continue to work with the larger share of the Eagles backfield touches. He'll be a FLEX option in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos.
