Devontae Booker Racks Up 122 Totals Yards, Injures Hip Late
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Devontae Booker (hip) rushed for 99 yards on 21 attempts and caught all three of his targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He did injure his hip late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory, but Booker said his hip "feels great" after the game. The former Las Vegas Raider was on the sideline, ready to go if the Giants got the ball back. Booker has now racked up over 100 total yards from scrimmage in back-to-back games. New York has a bye in Week 10, he will have an extra week to rest his hip. The 29-year-old has filled in well for injured starting running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) and earned more usage in the future. Even if Barkley returns in Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Booker should continued to be rostered in all league formats.
