Christian McCaffrey Goes For 106 Scrimmage Yards In Return
3 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey carried the ball 14 times for 52 rushing yards, adding 54 receiving yards on four catches in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. McCaffrey made it through his pre-game workout and the contest unscathed, looking good in his return to the field, as he was able to still get his against a Bill Belichick defense that makes a living against taking away its opponent's best player. The dynamic runner has missed much of the season but has exceeded the 100-yard scrimmage mark in three of four games played. McCaffrey saw a season-low 18 touches, but that's plenty for fantasy managers, as it should keep him fresher as the season goes along. He'll be an elite RB1 for a Week 10 matchup with a Cardinals defense that has struggled to contain pass-catchers out of the backfield.
