Killian Hayes Ruled Out For Friday’s Game
3 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Killian Hayes (thumb) will be sidelined for Friday's contest against Brooklyn due to a sprained left thumb. Hayes, who had started each of Detroit's first eight games, has scuffled mightily from the field to begin the season, shooting just 31 percent overall. In his absence, Cory Joseph, Cade Cunningham, and Saben Lee all stand to see elevated roles, although how the minutes are divvied up will be less clear. Detroit clearly thinks highly of Hayes, but he has not yet played his way into fantasy relevance. His next chance to return comes Wednesday vs. the Rockets.
