Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams will draw another start with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) remaining on IR in Week 9 versus the Green Bay Packers. Williams has been a solid fill in for managers with CEH sidelined and has received 64% or more of the backfield snaps since Edwards-Helaire has been on the shelf. The Packers defense has been efficient against the run game this year and hasn't allowed a team to rush for 100 yards in a game since Week 1. For the season, they are allowing just 77 yards per game to opposing runners. Despite allowing three rushing touchdowns to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8, they have only allowed seven total rushing touchdowns on the season. Backup running back Derrick Gore surprisingly saw 11 carries in Week 8 and was efficient with 48 yards and a touchdown, but only saw 20% of the backfield snaps. Williams remains the running back to roster for the Chiefs and managers should consider him a RB2 in Week 9.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running back Darrel Williams (knee) and kicker Matt Prater (hip) are both active for the Week 8 contest against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Williams will return from a two-game absence and James Conner (ribs) remains out. However, Eno Benjamin has been solid as the team's lead back the last two weeks with both Williams and Conner sidelined, so the Cardinals could continue to give Benjamin the majority of the backfield touches as they ease Williams back into the fold. Williams will be a risky touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in deeper leagues now that he's back. Benjamin still has plenty of fantasy upside this week, but the return of Williams takes a little shine off of him. Prater will return for the first time since Week 4, but fantasy managers can probably find safer kicking options this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running back Darrel Williams (knee) is considered a game-time decision for Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings. Williams has been limited in practice this week and could return to action on Sunday after missing the last two games. James Conner (ribs) will miss his third straight game, so Eno Benjamin, who has been the starter for the last two weeks, should at least half a share of the backfield duties this weekend against Minnesota. Williams could have his offensive snaps limited if he's active on Sunday, so Benjamin would probably still be the better fantasy play. In the last two games as the starter, Benjamin has had 27 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown while adding seven receptions on eight targets for an additional 49 yards.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running backs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) were both limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Conner and Williams have both missed the last two games, but they could be trending towards returning this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, which would push Eno Benjamin back to a depth role in Arizona. With both Conner and Williams out the last two weeks, Benjamin has received 27 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown while catching seven of his eight targets for 49 yards. If both Conner and Williams return against Minnesota, the Cardinals could have a three-way committee approach, making it hard to trust anyone in this backfield for fantasy purposes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running backs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) were both seen taking part in practice on Wednesday. Conner and Williams have both missed the last two games, but the fact that they are back out there for the first day of practice this week is a sign that they could both return to action this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. Eno Benjamin has taken over the lead-back role in their absences, rushing 27 times and catching seven passes in two starts. If one or both of Conner and/or Williams return in Week 8, Benjamin will fall back into a change-of-pace role and won't be worth including in starting fantasy lineups. Continue to keep an eye on Conner's and Williams' practice status the rest of the week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
