Taysom Hill Practices In Full Thursday
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, an upgrade from his limited session a day ago. Hill is now on track to play in Sunday's game against Atlanta, though head coach Sean Payton has yet to name a new starter in place of the injured Jameis Winston (knee), and the head coach isn't showing his hand when it comes to who is taking the starter reps at practice. Fellow signal-caller Trevor Siemian seems to have a chance to start after throwing for 159 yards and a score in relief of Winton on Sunday, though knowing Payton, he'll take this decision down to the wire. In terms of fantasy, Hill's rushing ability gives him clear upside, as evidenced by his brief stint as a starter last season, which saw him produce 834 passing yards and four scores through the air along with 209 rushing yards and four touchdowns in four starts. He'll be a QB2 with QB1 upside in Week 9 if named the starter- even with limited playmakers around him in New Orleans.
