Marcedes Lewis - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Marcedes Lewis is in line for more work after starter Robert Tonyan was diagnosed with a torn ACL. He logged 31-of-73 snaps (42%) in last Thursday's win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Packers will be without star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who was ruled out in Week 9 after testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. Lewis has hauled in nine catches on 11 targets for 108 yards over games in 2021. The 37-year-old is the Packers' primary tight end, but Josiah Deguara and Dominique Dafney could also see an expanded role while Tonyan is out. Lewis is a deep-league option at best against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9.
