Jordan Love - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said quarterback Jordan Love would make his first NFL start against the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's game. Packers star QB Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and was ruled out for Week 9. Love, the Packers' 2020 first-round pick, has only appeared in garbage time over two games this season. The Packers will likely have a run-heavy script against Kansas City and expect Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon to see heavy usage on Sunday. Green Bay's top two targets Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, are expected to return in Week 9 after a one-game absence. According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, Rodgers will be out a minimum of 10 days because he's not vaccinated. The Chiefs' defense can't stop anyone and has given up the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Love is a mid-range QB2 but has the upside and matchup to finish as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in Week 9.
