On Monday, the New York Knicks lost to the Toronto Raptors 113-104, but RJ Barrett's recent scoring burst continued. The 21-year old provided his third 20-plus scoring night in as many games and is putting those early-season concerns behind him. In 39 minutes, Barrett dropped 27 points, six rebounds, a steal, and five three-pointers. He went 9-for-13 from the floor and made five of his eight three-point attempts. In these last three matchups, the former-Duke standout is averaging 27.3 points and giving managers valuable numbers in rebounds, threes, and pumping up his shooting ratios. Currently, he's a top-75 option in category leagues but can rise even higher if the scoring output remains consistent.--Euan Leith

Toronto Raptors forward RJ Barrett (rest) won't play on Friday against Charlotte. The former Knick has played well this season, averaging 21.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. However, he's appeared in only 54 games, missing time for various reasons. The Raptors are still in the hunt for a Play-In spot, although time is running out for the team to make a late-season surge. At any rate, his absence should mean Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, and Immanuel Quickley will see a few more scoring tries. Jamison Battle, averaging 10.4 points in five starts during the 2024-25 campaign, should continue to fill the void in the rotation.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Toronto Raptors forward RJ Barrett (rest) will be out of the lineup for a third straight game on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors. Barrett has missed a pair of games due to an illness and will be rested on Thursday night. His absence has created more scoring opportunities for Immanuel Quickley and Scottie Barnes. Meanwhile, Jamison Battle has taken on a starting role. Battle has not been comfortable in the role on the offensive end, shooting only 31.9 percent from the field. He has averaged 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds since moving to the first unit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports that Toronto Raptors guard RJ Barrett (illness) is unavailable for Monday's matchup with the Phoenix Suns. Barrett is dealing with an illness that will keep him out for the second consecutive contest. His absence would probably mean more action for Jamison BattleA.J. Lawson, and Jamal Shead. Lawson is the best streaming option between the three, but Battle might offer some low-end value as he's played over 30 minutes in two of the last three games.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Toronto Raptors guard RJ Barrett (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Barrett appears to be dealing with a minor illness, so the team is going to wait and see how he feels on Sunday before making a final decision. Barrett looked a bit sluggish on Friday when he finished with 17 points and five assists across 25 minutes of action. His absence would probably mean more playing time for Jamison Battle, A.J. Lawson, and Jamal Shead. Between the three, Lawson is the best streaming option, but Battle might offer some low-end value because he has been playing big minutes over the last two games.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
