Mahomes has surprisingly hit this total in just three of the Chiefs' first seven games and has a somewhat tough matchup against this Giants' secondary. Over the previous four weeks, the Giants have not allowed a single quarterback to eclipse this total, and they have also allowed just one quarterback all season to get over this mark. The Giants have struggled against the run, however, as they have allowed running backs to average 117 rushing yards per game over their previous three games. This is also a spot where the Chiefs are 10.5-point favorites and may not need to throw the ball as much in order to win this game.
As aforementioned, the Giants enter the contest at double-digit dogs and will likely have to throw the ball a bit more in order to keep the game close. This may not be such a bad thing as the Chiefs have allowed quarterbacks to average nearly 290 passing yards per game over their previous four games. This is also a number the Chiefs have allowed in all but two games this season, and a number Jones has hit in four of six completed games this season while missing by just four yards in a fifth game.

Darrel Williams more than 58.5 rushing yards and Sterling Shepard more than 55.5 receiving yards
While Williams was only handed the ball five times in last week's blowout loss to the Titans, he was handed the ball 21 times in a 31-13 victory over the Washington Football Team just two weeks ago. The Chiefs will enter this game as 10.5-point favorites, which should lead to added carries for Williams. This is a Giants' defense that has allowed an average of 117 rushing yards per game to running backs over their previous three games while also giving up nearly 4.4 yards per carry.
It appears as though Sterling Shepard will be healthy enough to play in this game, and if that is the case. he has a great shot to get more than this total. In his previous four games played this season, he has averaged nine targets, seven receptions, and nearly 75 receiving yards per game. These stats also include a Week 3 game against the Falcons in which he left early due to a hamstring injury, so there is a ton of volume here. He should be a focal point in this offense, which should be solid news considering the Chiefs have allowed at least one wide receiver to get over this total in all but one game thus far in 2021.
