RJ Barrett Drops Career-High 35 Points
3 years agoNew York Knicks guard RJ Barrett enjoyed one of the best games of his young career in Saturday's win over the Pelicans. Barrett was excellent, shooting 12-for-18 from the field and 6 of 8 from beyond the arc while draining 5 of 6 free throws en route to a career-high 35 points, including a late dagger three to secure the win for New York. The third-year pro added eight rebounds and six assists while committing just one turnover in 36 minutes. Barrett appears ready for more responsibility on offense, as he is shooting the ball at the best efficiency of his career while making better decisions than ever with the ball in his hands. He'll get a tough test on Monday against one of the best defensive teams in the league, the Raptors.
