Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams didn't see much action in Week 7 with five carries, but much of that was due to the fact that the Chiefs were playing from behind for the majority of the game. Onto Week 8, Williams will have a fresh start and it comes against a New York Giants defense that is vulnerable versus the run. Starting his third game of the season, Williams will face a Giants defense that is surrendering 112.5 yards a game to opposing runners and is also giving up five receptions for 48 yards in the passing game to running backs. As long as the Chiefs are able to stay in the game, Williams could be in for a big day on Monday evening. Williams continues to be the workhorse out of the Chiefs backfield with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) on injured and should be considered a RB2 with sneaky RB1 in a favorable Week 8 matchup.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running back Darrel Williams (knee) and kicker Matt Prater (hip) are both active for the Week 8 contest against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Williams will return from a two-game absence and James Conner (ribs) remains out. However, Eno Benjamin has been solid as the team's lead back the last two weeks with both Williams and Conner sidelined, so the Cardinals could continue to give Benjamin the majority of the backfield touches as they ease Williams back into the fold. Williams will be a risky touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in deeper leagues now that he's back. Benjamin still has plenty of fantasy upside this week, but the return of Williams takes a little shine off of him. Prater will return for the first time since Week 4, but fantasy managers can probably find safer kicking options this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running back Darrel Williams (knee) is considered a game-time decision for Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings. Williams has been limited in practice this week and could return to action on Sunday after missing the last two games. James Conner (ribs) will miss his third straight game, so Eno Benjamin, who has been the starter for the last two weeks, should at least half a share of the backfield duties this weekend against Minnesota. Williams could have his offensive snaps limited if he's active on Sunday, so Benjamin would probably still be the better fantasy play. In the last two games as the starter, Benjamin has had 27 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown while adding seven receptions on eight targets for an additional 49 yards.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running backs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) were both limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Conner and Williams have both missed the last two games, but they could be trending towards returning this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, which would push Eno Benjamin back to a depth role in Arizona. With both Conner and Williams out the last two weeks, Benjamin has received 27 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown while catching seven of his eight targets for 49 yards. If both Conner and Williams return against Minnesota, the Cardinals could have a three-way committee approach, making it hard to trust anyone in this backfield for fantasy purposes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Arizona Cardinals running backs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) were both seen taking part in practice on Wednesday. Conner and Williams have both missed the last two games, but the fact that they are back out there for the first day of practice this week is a sign that they could both return to action this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. Eno Benjamin has taken over the lead-back role in their absences, rushing 27 times and catching seven passes in two starts. If one or both of Conner and/or Williams return in Week 8, Benjamin will fall back into a change-of-pace role and won't be worth including in starting fantasy lineups. Continue to keep an eye on Conner's and Williams' practice status the rest of the week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
