Amari Cooper - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper will look for a fresh start after the Cowboys bye week. Week 8 sees the Cowboys travel to Minnesota for a Sunday Night Football game against the Vikings. Cooper started the season off on fire, posting the overall WR1 performance in Week 1, catching 13 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns. That Week 1 performance was good for 32 fantasy points in half PPR leagues. He's totaled just 44 fantasy points since then, averaging just over five targets per game. Cooper's been dinged up a bit, so the hope is that the bye week rest gets him back to his Week 1 form. He's fallen clearly behind CeeDee Lamb on the depth chart though, and Michael Gallup (calf) returning soon could take even more targets away. Cooper still has plenty of upside, but he's hard to trust as anything more than a mid-range WR2.
