No Structural Damage To Nikola Jokic's Knee
3 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (knee) suffered an injury in Tuesday's loss to the Jazz. Jokic exited the game after banging knees with Rudy Gobert, but an MRI confirmed no structural damage to the knee, though the star center is sore. Jokic, who scored 24 points with six rebounds and six assists in just 15 minutes, seems to be trending towards a questionable tag for Thursday's game against the Rockets. Mike Singer of the Denver Post notes the team's generally-conservative approach with injuries could result in Jokic sitting out the contest- though more information will be available on game day. If Jokic does sit out, Bol Bol could draw the start at center, but Aaron Gordon could be the biggest beneficiary of the star big man's potential absence.
