Brandon Ingram Pours In Team-High 27 Points
3 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram scored 27 points with nine boards, four triples, and one assist in Monday's 107-98 win over the Timberwolves. Ingram led the Pelicans to their first win of the year, scoring 25-plus points on at least 46 percent shooting from the field for the fourth straight contest. The former number-two overall pick has the ball in his hands more than ever with Lonzo Ball out of town and Zion Williamson (foot) sidelined- and such usage could lead to a career year for the 24-year-old. He'll get a bit of a tricky matchup against an improved Hawks defense- though he should remain in lineups given his role in the offense.
