3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers. Barkley will miss his second straight game after suffering a low ankle sprain in Week 5. One would think Barkley has a good shot at returning from a prime-time game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, but the Giants are being extra cautious with the star running back after he tore his ACL last year. Elijhaa Penny had New York's lone touchdown from a running back last week, but it was Devontae Booker who saw the majority of the work, rushing 12 times for 41 yards and catching all four of his targets for 28 yards. He'll have RB2 upside in a much more forgiving matchup against Carolina this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
