Eric Bledsoe Drops 22 Points In Season Opener
3 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe had a strong performance in his first game in a Clippers jersey since 2013 on Thursday. Facing the Golden State Warriors in the team's season opener, Bledsoe shot 10-for-16 from the field and scored 22 points, second on the team to Paul George, who dropped 29. Bledsoe also added three rebounds, three steals, two assists and a block. He didn't surrender any turnovers in the contest. Bledsoe is coming off a rough year. As a member of the New Orleans Pelicans in 2020-21, he averaged just 12.2 points per game while shooting 42.1% from the field. He could be in for a bounce-back year now that he's reunited with the team he began his career with.
