Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney Not Expected To Play
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Kenny Golladay (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday, and neither receiver is expected to play in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers. Golladay hyperextended his knee in Week 5 and also sat out last weekend. Toney aggravated a pre-existing ankle injury early in the Week 6 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and was ruled out for the rest of the game. Sterling Shepard led the team with 10 catches on 14 targets for 76 yards, while Dante Pettis stepped up to handle five receptions on 11 targets for 48 yards. Pettis and Collin Johnson should once again have bigger roles, but Darius Slayton (hamstring) could also be returning from a three-week absence.
