Kadarius Toney Likely To Miss Time
3 years agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle) is likely to miss some time after injuring his ankle early in the Week 6 blowout loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Sources indicated that Toney is dealing with more than just a simple sprain. Left tackle Andrew Thomas (feet) has injuries to both of his feet and is also expected to miss time. Toney had three catches for 36 yards before leaving Sunday's game, and he was in line for an elevated role again with Kenny Golladay (knee) out. With Golladay not a lock to return in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers, Sterling Shepard and Dante Pettis could be New York's top two pass-catchers. Darius Slayton (hamstring) has missed the last three games. We'll have a better read on Toney's status as the practice week begins, but don't count on having him for your fantasy lineups this Sunday.
