3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut wide receiver Jaydon Mickens on Monday. The team also released outside linebacker Elijah Ponder from the practice squad, activated offensive lineman John Molchon from Injured Reserve and signed cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson to the practice squad. Mickens returned eight punts and five kickoffs on special teams in five games for the Buccaneers this year, but he wasn't targeted at all on offense. In 10 games for Tampa last season, Mickens managed to catch seven of his 10 targets for 58 yards. He has just 13 catches for 135 yards and two touchdowns in his career as mostly a return man on special teams.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
