Worlds Group Stage DFS Lineup Picks for 10/18/21 - FanDuel, DraftKings League Of Legends Daily Fantasy

Welcome to RotoBaller's coverage of League of Legends DFS for both FanDuel and DraftKings. We wrap up the Group Stage with Group D on this slate in which all teams will play 3 games.

Worlds is the best time of year for League of Legends as we get to see the top teams from all the regions battle it out to see who is the best. There are plenty of great teams in this tournament and I look forward to covering the DFS slates along the way.

Today I'll be bringing you my top League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for the slate beginning on Monday, October 18th, 2021 at 7:00 AM EST. You can check me out on Twitter @nolanroth10 and follow me for more LOL content!

Matchups

  • Gen G (-165) vs. MAD
  • TL vs. LNG (-210)
  • Gen G (-115) vs. LNG (-115)
  • MAD (-185) vs. TL
  • TL vs. Gen G (-220)
  • MAD vs. LNG (-165)

Captain

Humanoid - MAD: I will be using MAD as my main stack and running it back with LNG as my small stack on this slate. Double mid is how I will look to begin my lineups so Humanoid is the easy choice as captain as the Mad Lions have racked up 45 kills while only winning one of three games so far. I see MAD grabbing at least 2 wins on this slate making Humanoid and the rest of the Mad Lions great value.

Secondary Option: Icon - LNG

TOP

Ale - LNG: Ale is tied for second on LNG in kill share through the group stage and leads the team in kill participation. He has had counter pick in each game so far so it is a focus for the team to have Ale in winning matchups.

Secondary Option: Armut - MAD

JUNGLE

Elyoya - MAD: Elyoya has an 80% kill participation in the group stage and has racked up 11 kills which is good for second on the team. If MAD can string together some wins Elyoya is going to have some monster numbers on this slate

Secondary Option: Tarzan - LNG

MID

Humanoid - MAD: See above

Icon - LNG: Icon has 13 kills, good for a 36.1% kill share in the group stage. The only knock on Icon so far is his kill participation is the lowest on the team but that can change after one game.

ADC

Carzzy - MAD: Carzzy has positive numbers in both gold and XP in the first 10 minutes and has a 32.7% cs share after 15 minutes. MAD want Carzzy to farm up and be the late-game carry for the team if the game gets to that point. It wouldn't shock me to see Carzzy have at least one pop-off performance tomorrow.

Secondary Option: Light - LNG

SUPPORT

Kaiser - MAD: Kaiser is how I will be finishing up my MAD stacks. He is averaging just under 10 assists a game and is happy to kick off a team fight. He put up over 50 points in MAD's win over Gen G.

Secondary Option: Iwandy - LNG

TEAM

LNG: Without things getting too weird, LNG should go 2-1 or 3-0 on this slate putting them in a great position to score well in the team slot. They don't always finish the game with massive kill totals but that doesn't matter in the team slot.

Final Thoughts

MAD and LNG are the teams in rocking with tomorrow. The last few days have been crazy in terms of upsets and that is what makes Worlds such a fun time for League. TL will likely be the lowest owned team so if you are looking for some leverage plays in tournaments you could go that way however they are underdogs in all 3 games.
