Terry McLaurin, Antonio Gibson Expected To Play
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin (hamstring) and running back Antonio Gibson (shin), both questionable, are expected to play Sunday against Kansas City. Gibson, who has exceeded 70 scrimmage yards while scoring three touchdowns in the last two weeks, will take on a Chiefs defense that has already allowed the seventh-most scores to opposing halfbacks. Gibson is a good bet to find the end zone once again in what could be a high-scoring game. McLaurin practiced in full this week before experiencing a setback of sorts with his hamstring during Friday's practice- though it seemed to be precautionary more than anything else, and the star wideout is looking good for Sunday's contest. Given the injuries to Washington's other pass-catchers, McLaurin should remain in the WR1 ranks against a Kansas City unit that has allowed seven touchdowns to wideouts this year.
