Darius Slayton Returns To Practice
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday, and ESPN New York's Jordan Raanan expects both Slayton and Sterling Shepard (hamstring) to return in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams after they both missed the last two weeks. In two full games this year, Slayton has six catches on 13 targets for 119 yards and a touchdown. Kenny Golladay (knee) isn't expected to play this weekend, but rookie Kadarius Toney has seen his role increase dramatically the last two weeks with both Shepard and Slayton sidelined. It's unknown if quarterback Daniel Jones (concussion) can play this weekend, so Slayton's value and role are shaky, at best, heading into a tough matchup against the Rams.
