Jorge Soler Tests Positive For COVID-19, Done For NLDS
3 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Jorge Soler tested positive for COVID-19 and the team placed him on the COVID-19 injured list on Tuesday. He will now miss a minimum of five days, potentially more. That means he's out for the remainder of the NLDS. He could also miss the start of the NLCS as well if the Braves were to advance. Soler had been the team's primary leadoff hitter for the past few weeks. Dansby Swanson is now slotting in as leadoff hitter for Game 4 on Tuesday while Joc Pederson is taking over Soler's usual right field post. Cristian Pache will be replacing Soler on the team's NLDS roster.
