Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Bryan Edwards had two receptions on five targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 20-9 loss to the Chicago Bears. Edwards wasn't the only Raider who struggled on Sunday against the Bears but noticeably missed a long pass for a first down from Derek Carr that could have turned the game around for Vegas. Edwards and the rest of the receiving corps should get more work in the coming weeks, but the 22-year-old hasn't had enough work recently to have a major fantasy impact.--Chelena Goldman

Free-agent wide receiver Bryan Edwards has signed with the New Orleans Saints. The details of the contract haven't been announced, but it's assumed to be a one-year deal. The 24-year-old will reunite with his former teammate Derek Carr in New Orleans. The former third round pick has failed to solidify a role for himself in the NFL. Edwards has 48 receptions, 779 yards, and four touchdowns in parts of three seasons. He was cut by the Atlanta Falcons after seven games last season. Edwards appears to have the potential to be a legitimate option in the league, but he hasn't put it together yet. He remains nothing more than a dynasty stash right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

The Atlanta Falcons decided to move on from wide receiver Bryan Edwards earlier this week. The former third round pick has now cleared waivers and has become a free agent. The 24-year-old played a very minimal role on the Falcons offense this season. Before that, Edwards had 45 receptions, 764 yards, and four touchdowns through two seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders. There is certainly talent and potential here in Edwards, but Atlanta wasn't the right fit for him. Now, he'll have a chance to sign with a contender as a possible depth option. It's uncertain if he'll have fantasy value right away as it depends on where he signs.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Bryan Edwards was placed on waivers on Thursday, according to a source. He'll be a potential late-season addition for a wide receiver-needy team. Edwards only played in seven games (one start) for a Falcons team thin on receiving depth, and he caught just three of five targets for 15 yards in his seven games. In his three seasons in the NFL (two with the Las Vegas Raiders), the 24-year-old wideout has just 48 receptions on 79 targets for 779 yards and four touchdowns. His best season came in 2021 with the Raiders, when he caught 34 of 59 targets for 571 yards and three touchdowns. It's unlikely that Edwards will become fantasy relevant as receiver depth for the rest of the 2022 campaign if he is picked up by another club.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Bryan Edwards is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Edwards has one catch for two yards through two games this season. Kyle Pitts, Drake London, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Olamide Zaccheaus should headline the receiving game in this one.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
