3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Kenneth Gainwell only recorded three touches in a Week 5 win over the Carolina Panthers. Gainwell ran the ball twice, gaining 16 yards. He was targeted three times and caught one pass for eight yards. Gainwell had been trending up and seemed to be taking touches away from starter Miles Sanders, but Sanders saw 16 touches and quarterback Jalen Hurts rushed nine times on his own. The rookie Gainwell had worked his way into FLEX consideration in deeper leagues, but this was a disappointment for anyone who included him in a fantasy starting lineup.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
