Ryder Cup Star Scottie Scheffler Returns To Action In Las Vegas
3 years agoScottie Scheffler is coming off an impressive performance at the Ryder Cup, where he both successfully partnered with Bryson DeChambeau and took down the No. 1 player in the world in singles. There is certainly reason to believe that the young Texas native can carry the momentum to this week's PGA Tour event in Las Vegas. With that being said, we do not see TPC Summerlin as a course that will accentuate Scheffler's skill set. The 2020 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year is a far better long-iron player than he is a wedge player, and his greatest asset is his driver. TPC Summerlin is more of a positional golf course that takes the driver out of player's hands. The upside is undeniable, but Scheffler is preferred on longer and more difficult golf courses.
