Texans Cut Anthony Miller
3 years agoThe Houston Texans cut wide receiver Anthony Miller on Wednesday, according to a league source. The Texans acquired Miller from the Chicago Bears several months ago, but they have already decided to move on. He suffered a dislocated shoulder in the preseason and wasn't active the first two weeks of the regular season. In Miller's two starts out of the slot, the 26-year-old had just five catches on 11 targets for 23 yards and a touchdown while taking passes from rookie quarterback Davis Mills. Brandin Cooks leads Houston's receivers with 39 targets through four games, with Miller coming in second with his 11 looks. Veteran slot man Danny Amendola (thigh) could be returning soon from injury to replace Miller, but no receiver besides Cooks should be trusted in fantasy in this offense.
