Ryan Tannehill A QB2 In Week 5, Could Be Without Top Weapons
3 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill will look to bounce back in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars after getting sacked seven times and hit on 14 occasions in last Sunday's loss to the New York Jets. The Titans QB could be without his top to targets Julio Jones (hamstring) and A.J. Brown (hamstring) for the second straight week. He completed 30-of-49 pass attempts for 298 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Jets. His lone touchdown pass came at the end of the game. The 33-year-old has struggled this season and has only thrown multiple touchdowns once over four games in 2021. He is in a smash spot in Week 5 against a Jaguars defense that has allowed 312 passing yards per game, 30th overall in the NFL. Tannehill is a middling option without his top weapons and is a QB2 against a woeful Jaguars defense.
