4 years agoThe New England Patriots are working on a deal with free-agent linebacker Jamie Collins on Tuesday to bring him back for what would be his third stint with the team, according to a source. Given his familiarity with New England's defensive system, Collins should be able to contribute right away, possibly as early as Week 5 against the Houston Texans. The 31-year-old recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) and a fumble recovery in the first two games of the season before being cut by the Detroit Lions as they look to get younger on defense. The Patriots defense/special teams is an elite play this weekend against a Houston Texans team starting rookie quarterback Davis Mills, who has two touchdowns and five interceptions in three games played so far.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
