3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy (elbow) suffered an elbow injury during Sunday's season finale against the Milwaukee Brewers. He looked to be in a great deal of pain after the injury and the team was fearful that he'd be forced to miss the entire postseason. Luckily, the Dodgers got some good news on Tuesday, as tests on Muncy's arm revealed no UCL tear. While Muncy remains without a timetable for a return, manager Dave Roberts told reporters that he had a "glimmer of hope" that Muncy could join the team later in the playoffs. For now, the team will be left with Cody Bellinger, Albert Pujols and Matt Beaty as their primary first base options. There hasn't been any indication as to who would start at first base in Wednesday's Wild Card game yet.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
