Larry Rountree III Picks Up 31 Yards In Week 4
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie running back Larry Rountree III rushed 11 times for 31 yards in a Week 4 victory versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Starting running back Austin Ekeler was briefly sidelined earlier in the contest and it was evident that Rountree was the preferred option on the ground over veteran Justin Jackson. However, Jackson was the preferred option in the passing game with four receptions for 17 yards. Managers that roster Ekeler would be wise to insure him with Rountree and Jackson should also be looked at as an insurance policy in PPR leagues. As long as Ekeler remains healthy, Rountree and Jackson can be avoided in starting lineups.
