Darrell Henderson Jr. Runs Well In Return To Action
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. didn't show much rust in his return to action in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals after missing Week 3 with a chest injury. He finished the game with 14 carries for 89 yards along with five catches for 27 yards on the day. Unfortunately for Henderson, he was unable to find the end zone, and the team was playing from behind for much of the game, which limited his total number of opportunities. However, it's clear that when he's healthy, the backfield is firmly his. Henderson's 19 touches were 16 more than teammate Sony Michel. Assuming he stays healthy, Henderson will have some RB2 upside on a weekly basis in this strong offense.

Darrell Henderson Jr. Back With Rams
1 year agoIt didn't take long for the Los Angeles Rams to reunite with running back Darrell Henderson Jr. after releasing him on Tuesday. On Wednesday, they re-signed him to their practice squad to give them additional RB depth. Henderson is essentially the odd man out with Kyren Williams (ankle) set to return from Injured Reserve to once again lead LA's backfield in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. The 26-year-old started all four games with Williams on IR in Weeks 7-11 (bye in Week 10) and had 46 carries for 112 yards (2.43 yards per carry) and two touchdowns on the ground, adding 10 catches for 103 yards through the air. Williams, Royce Freeman and rookie Zach Evans will now serve as depth for the Rams in the RB room with Williams returning.

Rams Waive Darrell Henderson Jr.
1 year agoThe Los Angeles Rams waived running back Darrell Henderson Jr. on Tuesday with Kyren Williams (ankle) set to return from Injured Reserve in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Rams reunited with Henderson when Williams went on IR, and he had 46 rushing attempts for 112 yards (2.43 yards per carry) and two touchdowns while adding 10 receptions for 103 yards on 14 targets in four starts with Williams sidelined. Henderson wasn't very efficient on the ground, though, and was also ceding valuable touches to Royce Freeman, who should now operate as Williams' backup down the stretch. If the 26-year-old clears waivers, he could return to the Rams' practice squad as RB depth.

Darrell Henderson Jr. Scores In Win
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. found his way into the end zone despite a quiet day against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. Henderson carried the ball six times for just one yard and a touchdown while hauling in four of seven targets for 28 yards through the air. Royce Freeman has been the better rusher of the two and has led the team on the ground for four straight games. With Kyren Williams (ankle) eligible to return in Week 12, Henderson should not be considered a start unless absolutely needed. Treat him as a low-end RB4 in the team's Week 12 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

Darrell Henderson Jr. A Low-End RB3/Flex Play In Week 11
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. is expected to start another game with Kyren Williams (knee) still on IR. Henderson has played the majority of running back snaps for the team over the last three weeks, but has not been efficient on the ground. The 26-year-old has rushed the ball 40 times for just 111 yards, averaging less than three yards per carry. He now faces a Seattle Seahawks defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs. Consider Henderson as a flex play at best in Week 11.
