Daniel Jones Tops 400 Passing Yards For First Time In Career
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 28 of 40 passes for 402 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while rushing for 27 yards on four attempts and a two-point conversion in Sunday's 27-21 overtime win over New Orleans. He was brilliant in Sunday's win, throwing for 403 yards and two long touchdowns to lead the Giants to victory. His first interception of the season was a Hail Mary to end the first half. The 24-year-old connected with wide receiver John Ross for a 52-yard strike to put the Giants on the board in the first quarter. He later threw a 54-yard strike to running back Saquon Barkley to bring the Giants within three. Jones will look to continue his strong play and will be a low-end QB2 against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5.
