Brandin Cooks Paces Team In Targets Once Again
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks caught five of seven targets for 47 yards in Sunday's blowout loss to the Bills. Cooks again operated as the Texans alpha receiver, as he accounted for roughly half of their total receiving production as a team. The veteran wideout has totaled 28 receptions on 39 targets for 369 receiving yards and a touchdown through four weeks. His one touchdown is a bit disappointing- though he'll be in consideration as an every-week starter, as long as he commands such an elite target share. Up next is a bit of a tough matchup against New England, who has excelled at taking away the opponent's best offensive weapon.
