Jose Siri Diagnosed With Small Finger Fracture
3 years agoHouston Astros rookie outfielder Jose Siri (finger) has a small fracture in his right pinkie finger, according to Astros manager Dusty Baker. He is in the midst of being evaluated by the team as they consider what their next moves with him will be. The 26-year-old suffered the injury in Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics and was removed from the game early. He was in the starting lineup just about every game while Michael Brantley was sidelined, but with Brantley back, Siri is slated for more of a reserve role. Over 21 games this year, he's slashed .304/.347/.609 with four home runs, three stolen bases, nine RBI and 10 runs.
