Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton Not Expected To Play
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) weren't spotted at practice on Friday, and it's safe to assume that they'll be out for Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints, according to The Athletic's Dan Duggan. Neither player was able to practice all week, so fantasy managers should have them benched this weekend. With both Shepard and Slayton likely out, rookie Kadarius Toney should see his largest snap share of his early career and could make some noise out of the slot. Collin Johnson, who saw a team-high seven targets last week, should also be involved as the third wideout behind Golladay and Toney. Golladay, who has been a disappointment to fantasy managers thus far, should be quarterback Daniel Jones' top target in a difficult matchup on the road.
